Autumn Equinox is one of the great Solar festival power-points ~ Day and Night of equal duration... the final festival of the season of harvest... when tribes have gathered and celebrated for eons of time ~ this year on 22nd September ~ conveniently a Saturday ~ countless individuals and groups around Gaia will be gathering to celebrate and meditate with Love, Peace and Unity because it's Autumn Equinox 2012... feel the wheel turning away from summer... let's give thanks to the waning sun and summer of change... reflect and celebrate ♥
AND on this special day is also Earthdance 2012 ~ the Global Peace Party! Yearly since 1997 ~ hundreds of large and small events in over 50 countries uniting for world peace ~ the highlight being when all participants worldwide join together for one powerful synchronised moment of peaceful intention with every event playing the Prayer for Peace track! The time for us in London is 12 Midnight! All Earthdance events donate to charity. We are supporting YouthNet charity who help millions of young people in the UK to make choices today for a brighter tomorrow through engaging, informing and inspiring youth to achieve their ambitions and dreams ~ www.youthnet.org. We will also donate to Earthdance Global to help sustain their coordination of global synchronised Prayers for Peace gatherings. Over the years Earthdance has raised 100s thousands for charities, last year alone benefiting over 75 international charities...
