Saturday, May 19 Lighting Workshop

Dear Members of Photographic Lighting Workshops,

Need an adventurous break from the beginning heat of summer?

Join us on our next Outdoor Lighting Workshop in Pason AZ, at the Mogollon Rim.

Along the five mile trail at the rim, learn about capturing the beauty of the surroundings while lighting your subject with reflectors, diffusers and Speed Lights. Did I mention Silhouettes?

Our experienced Models will be dressed in casual and elegant attire to create a wonderful contrast of natural textures and scenic backdrops, as the setting for inspiring natural portraits.

As we explore the five elements of Dimensional Lighting, you will learn how to find and create beautiful light for portraiture.

We will also explore blending the human figure to mimic the surroundings for a sense of organic composition and art in portraiture.

We will go beyond the great smile to reveal something of the inner nature of the individual and how that can be elegantly framed in a natural setting.

As we explore the technique of blending nature with our subjects, you will discover the inner side of your own imagination as you mimic the outstretching branches of wind blown trees in your posing.

Our lunch break will be a picnic in the woods, surrounded by Pine trees and Aspen. You will make new friends and relax in a setting, sometimes so quiet that you can hear the swoosh from the wings of over head flying birds.

In an atmosphere of filtered sunlight and breath taking views, you will discover a new world of photography, an adventure in lighting, form and natural wonder.
