Thank you very much for spending time with us last night at the kickoff of The Reverse Startup. I want to thank everyone that helped put this together. As well as all that attended. I know it wasn't perfect (it never is), but that is not the point - the point was to "start something".
I realize some of you couldn't make it to our event, and still some of you told me you were still confused as to what the ReverseStartup "is" and "is not".
So here is a more succinct description of what we want to do...
The Reverse Startup is an accelerated product launch camp, driven by the open source community, focused on rapid prototyping and rapid execution around a series of proof-of-concept exercises. Encompassing a wide range of topics, this group is ideal for developers, designers, technologists, marketing professionals and entrepreneurs. The Reverse Startup is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the community and helping people actualize their dreams and professional goals. We endeavor to come together, solve problems, learn new things, share our knowledge, and have fun.

What the Reverse Startup is NOT
The Reverse Startup is not a profit seeking venture. All work produced under the Reverse Startup meetups, message boards and select correspondence is conducted under the Open Software License (OSL 3.0). Work, source code and materials produced at each meetup will be made publicly available for the world to see and use freely.
The Reverse Startup Methodology is devised from real-world experience from high-level industry professionals in their respective areas of expertise. We’re not really a school nor are we a classroom. We’re simply a group of individuals engaged in “knowledge transfer” and “best practices” exchanges.
We’re not tied to any “-isms”. Our way of doing things is whichever way is the best, proven way to execute.
