Diyanat Ali, Founder and Director of the club developed an interest for adventure when he was a child and has been a member of the NCC Army Wing. After the term with NCC 'C' Certificate and being the best cadet from Andhra at the Republic Day Camp -1997 he didn’t let go of his love for adventure and turned it into a full fledged hobby.
Together with a small group of friends, Diyanat would go on regular treks and participate in adventure activities whenever time permitted, till May 2008, when he came up with an idea of starting a club for like minded people who were keen on adventure. He took the risk and started GHAC and in 2011 he resigned from his IT career to do something in the outdoors and experiential learning. After volunteering full-time with GHAC for about 2 years he floated a new startup "Outlife" in that deals in Outbound and experiential learning for groups and corporate houses.
