What we’re about
This is a group for people interested in hiking and skiing/snowboarding, and snowshoe hiking.
Mountains are a beautiful place to be, and to enjoy them together makes it even better!
For your comfort and safety, there are some rules:
• Please update your RSVP status, should your plans change. For an organizer it's important to know who is really joining.
• normally hikes and events will be without dogs; in case dogs are welcome, it will be explicitly written in the event description. Please contact me if you want to bring your assistance dog.
• if a payment is required, the payment method will be stated in the event description - or will be sent to you in a private message (in case of multi-day events).
• The activities in this group have a higher risk than sitting on the couch at home. Obviously this goes for sport activities such as skiing/snowboarding and mountain hiking, but it might go for things like for example hot wood stoves in the middle of a mountain hut, etc.. You are always responsible for assessing the risks yourself and you are always responsible for your own do’s and don’ts. You are yourself liable for the consequences of your own decisions. No insurance is provided on behalf of the organizer; please arrange a (travel) insurance yourself and make sure that it covers the appropriate risks (for example: are winter sports activities covered? This is not always the case).

About the organising group:- Nina: our German teacher, in love with life, mountains and languages. Always full of energy and ideas. Nina has been teaching German and English to all ages for over two decades and has worked all over the world (ask her about Myanmar, Siberia and India....)
- Klaas: in love with mountains and very experienced at organising awesome mountain adventures here in Switzerland. An added bonus is that he speaks fluent German
- Julia: the idea generator and finder of great organisers/teachers, as she desperately wants to improve her German!! Her love of being outdoors in nature, doing sport and having interesting conversations about life whilst in a group means that she wants to optimise her time and would much rather combine learning German alongside doing the things she loves!
