We?re SICC is looking for a front-end software engineer to work
on a contract basis and help us build the first online
community dedicated to creating and selling music merchandise.
You will be responsible for the development of portions of our
web site and service. This is a unique opportunity to get
involved in the beginning stages of a company that is aiming to
build a worldwide music merchandise platform and community. The
opportunity starts off as contract work for a single project,
and has the potential to lead to additional contract work, as
well as a full time position for the right individual. This is
a hands-on position. You will be part of a hard working team,
dedicated to providing users the ultimate ease of use and
convenience.

Requirements:

• Fast learner, self motivated
  
• Knowledge of Ajax, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  
• Experience with Python, Django and Google App Engine.
  
• Extensive knowledge of SQL.
  
• Knowledge of GQL is a plus.
  
• Passionate about music and about using technology to transform the way people interact with each other
  

Current Budget (more available for additional projects):
- $500 - $1000 depending on how much you can contribute
