👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON THE LARGEST MOVIE CLUB IN LONDON MADE BY MOVIE FANS FOR MOVIE FANS.
In a nutshell, we are just a bunch of Film Buffs, Filmmakers and Creators who like to go out for drinks and watch movies. We also rate and review the films after we watch them and the results are posted on our **Letterboxd **Page.
We are also avid supporters of Independent Cinema, The Film Festival Guild, Medicinema and establishments like Prince Charles Cinema and the British Film Institute to mention a few. Thanks to this we sometimes gain special access and discounts to special events that we can then share with you. Plus we meet up regularly for a social to catch up again at the BFI which is a lot of fun.
We try to stay well informed when it comes to film news, New Releases and Re-Releases and members are also able to vote for what films they want to see through our WhatsApp Group (at request), WhatsApp Channel, Telegram Group (at request) and Telegram Channel.
Whatever the time of year we do our best to always be around, come and join us for a good time.

🪙 DOES ANYONE KNOW A CHRISTIAN WOLFF?
Anyone? I don't know much about him, except that he moonlights as a freelance avenger. Whatever that means.Hey guys 👋 It is Friday night accounting, which means that for many of us, it's payday. And with that, we can watch this action thriller, which is also a sequel to the 2016 film. It's been awhile since 2016, so I don't think it will be necessary to watch the first one (cause I haven't). But if you still want to you can spend your hard earned money on a streaming service. Or better yet, why not just skip it and come straight to this one. I don't think it will make much of a difference 😬. It is directed by Gavin O'Connor and so far the reviews for this film are positive, although it's best to judge for ourselves. This will also takes place eight years after the events of the first film, surprise surprise.
So this Friday night, we will be drawn back into a world of violence and conspiracy cause we don't get enough of that in the news LOL. Nevertheless let's hand and have a fun night. Checkout the details bellow

THE NATURE OF WARTIME FRIENDSHIPS
During wartime, strong friendships become indispensable. The bond amongst soldiers who enlist together, train together, and are shipped together overseas and that fight side-by-side in the trenches will never forget the brotherhood that will long exist after death.Hi Everybody 🫡 In recent years director Alex Garland has been trying hard to send us message. Sadly these attempts from the wise fall on the deaf ears. Now to help make things more crystal he has teamed up to with Ray Mendoza who joined the Navy back in 1997 serving for over 16 years as a member of the SEAL Team 5. After helping out Alex Garland on Civil War, the two decided to team up to tell his personal story which is based on his mission during the Iraq War.
This story hinges on the relationship between Ray Mendoza and Elliott Miller, a SEAL who sustained significant injuries and now, cannot remember the attack. Join us for drinks this Sunday afternoon. Check out the details below:

- 5:15 PM: We walk a few flights up to Screen 8. I I have chosen seat B1.

While his love for his friends may be his greatest weakness, it is also his greatest strength.Hey guys 👋 I have to say that I absolutely loved the previous instalment. I haven't been on the edge of my seat while sitting on it in a very very long time. I guess it's because I find it harder to engage in movies today. And I'm not the only one who thinks that. I totally get why they needed Tom Cruise to save Hollywood. He's a proper action pro who's not afraid to jump from heights. So this is movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie who has pretty much been in-charge since Rogue Nation. And also recently, he directed the super awesome Top Gun Maverick. Part of the plan is to keep the details of this movie concealed, just like a good mission. So I guess We'll Burn That Bridge When We Come To It!
I'm so glad that the wait is almost over and I'm looking forward to being again with you on the edge of my seat. I'll come back to you with more details of the meetup as we get closer to the date. Bye for now.
