- DevEdmonton JavaScript/Ruby/Python MeetupEdmonton Public Library - Strathcona, Edmonton, AB
Hi there! This month, we'll be trying something new:
Dev Edmonton Website PR-athon by us, the community!
- Are you a developer who would like to impart knowledge while also contributing to open source?
- Are you new to this and wondering what a GitHub is?
- Do you have ideas you'd like to propose in the Issues page?
If so, bring your laptops, we'll have pizza and tables at the ready for some wholesome, grassroots coding and sharing of ideas.
We typically have a small set of intro slides before diving into the topics. Then, we open up the floor for networking until 8:30pm.
To ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported, we ask that you review our Code of Conduct.
Who are we?
The YEG JavaScript, Python, and Ruby organizers are teaming up to bring back in-person meetups and talks. We aim to help explore topics in those three languages, but also web, data science and machine learning in general.
For more information, join us on the Dev Edmonton Slack at https://devedmonton.com/#about-our-slack, and/or visit https://exchangejs.com.
Once you're on Slack, check out the #meetup-javascript, #meetup-ruby, and #meetup-edmontonpy channels to connect with like-minded folks, ask questions, and discuss your new/favourite topics.
