What we’re about
STHLM Outdoor (changed name from Stockholm Outdoor Enthusiasts) is a group for anyone that's interested in any kind of outdoor activity, whether it be hiking, climbing, mountain biking, mushroom picking, kayaking, camping or just plain forest walking etc. etc.. All skill levels are more than welcome. The group started as a way to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, experience together, learn from each other and to have a great time and that is the goal forward too!
Experienced people in a certain activity are very welcome to be hosting events. The goal is to have several events every week for people to attend, from bouldering to ice skating. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody!

Gear
Night temperatures can still get cold, so it's a good idea to have a warm sleeping mattress as well as a warm sleeping bag. If you don't have the right gear, there are multiple places that you can rent good quality gear from.- Hygglo (private rental) may have some options.
- Naturkompaniet's rental
- Outdoor Supply,
(Thanks to Rikard and Victoria for sharing this on a previous Meetup event!)
Also feel free to team up to share gear. We can reduce the amount we need to carry by sharing tents/stoves etc.RSVP
Please keep your RSVP up-to-date. We want to keep the group to around 10 people so if you decide you can’t make it, free up the space with enough notice for someone else to attend.Note: One friend is camping with their friendly jack russell, they have assured me that their dog will not bother you.
