Bring a book (or a few) you’re ready to pass along, and settle in for a peaceful time of silent reading. We’ll gather around books we’re currently reading, swap thoughts, favorites, and recommendations in an easy, unstructured way. Whether you want to read quietly, listen, or jump into conversation, the afternoon is meant to feel relaxed and welcoming. 📍 Location details will be shared in the WhatsApp Ladies’ group chat closer to the event, in consideration of women’s safety.

He waved you to leave, go home, but the sinking feeling in your stomach told you to follow. They go down an alleyway and just as you turn the corner, you see the flash of a nanoblade coming out of her finger and swiping across his throat. Before his body hits the ground a swarm of rats are crawling over his body, chewing through muscle and bone. You dive out of the mouth of the alley, out of sight, but you can still smell the blood, still hear the chittering and chewing. You take off running for home, not looking back to see if you were spotted.* Mothership is a science fiction horror rpg with a focus on roleplaying and narratives shaped by player choices. Players will take on the role of a crew scavenging derelict ships, investigating remote outposts, encountering strange new alien threats, and trying to survive the inhospitable environment of outer space. No experience is necessary to join these sessions. I'll go over some of the core mechanics before the game, the rest is simple enough to learn as you go. Starting Play: Each point begins with both teams lining up on the front of opposite end zone lines. The defense throws ("pulls") the disc to the offense. 2. Broad St., Columbus 43215** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
