So, got any plans for Saturday, March 24th? What are you thinking about? Are you going to mow the grass? Watch some basketball? Maybe head to Home Depot or the grocery store? Why don't you record the game on the DVR, and put off everything else until Sunday.
Wouldn't you rather feel the spring sunshine while riding along the shores of Harris Lake? Wouldn't you like to marvel at the wild flowers and the trees breaking out in leaves. Wouldn't it be cool to hear the sounds of birds and bugs singing their mating songs over the whir of your chain. Come join us at the Meltdown, final race of the 2011/2012 Endurance Series.
Is a six hour race not your thing? No, problem. Just come out and ride in the recreation class. We'll time your laps and you'll get to check out the great trails at Harris Lake.
Please RSVP on Meetup so we know you're coming. And, please go ahead and pay to simplify race day registration. Here's the link:
Finally, please keep in mind we're into having a good time, but we're also trying to raise money for trail projects. TORC's racing program happens to be one of the best ways we have to generate funds for trail building and improvement. So, come out, enjoy a day on the trail, and support TORC. Podium finishes are cool, but we're all winners when we have funds to invest in trails.
Here's looking forward to seeing you there,
