This is a new walk led by John Harris, and is well worth going to.

Shepperton, the Thames and and a lake.

Join us for a pleasant river and lakeside walk in Shepperton and Walton.

We will meet at Cafe Mocha D in Shepperton High St, 4 minutes walk from the station at 11.10 .

After our refreshments we will set off at 11.30 and proceed to Walton Bridge and the Thames before diverging to walk alongside a quiet and calm lake.

We then rejoin the river in Weybridge and get the Shepperton to Weybridge Ferry {as image above} to the other bank (ferry fare is £3.50).

We will have our lunch break here either in the pub or cafe or if the weather is ok you can sit besides the river and have your sandwiches.

After lunch we will pass through Old Shepperton before returning to the station.

Walking distance 5 miles.

Travelling you will need to be on th 10.12 am train from Waterloo arriving Shepperton 11.05 am

You will need to buy a return ticket from Hampton to Shepperton cost with a senior rail card £3.95, without a senior rail card £6.00
