What we’re about
This group was born from Mark Spoor's other meetup group, 55+ Colorado Mountain Biking. Many of the members of that cycling group were curious about how others were coping with the transition into retirement. This group focuses on diverse topics, including community, relationships, purpose, mental health, travel, downsizing, money management, taking care of elderly parents, etc. Unlike most retirement groups, we focus more on quality of life in retirement vs. money.
These meetups offer the opportunity to build new relationships and learn from other group members.
This group meets primarily in the fall and winter months due to Mark and Ann's busy schedule as real estate agents in the spring and fall.
Feel free to suggest a topic by messaging Mark or Ann at thespoors@milehimodern.com. If you would like to host an event yourself, I would be happy to post the event description to the group and walk you through a typical meeting format.
