Here's some shock news on hybrid gatherings: people can enjoy them and find them useful :-)
Want to learn how? In this highly-interactive session, author Judy Rees will share tips, tricks and success stories from her new ebook, Successful Hybrid Gatherings, and create opportunities for you to share your own.
‘Hybrid’ gatherings are the kind of meetings and events where some people are in the same physical space while others are remote.
They’re famously challenging, both for leaders and participants. But research by meeting scientist Dr Joseph Allen, and practical real-world experience, both hint at hope.
Hybrid gatherings certainly can work well.
That's important, because it means that we may be able to create hybrid gatherings which combine the benefits of remote meetings (such as wider inclusion and reduced carbon emissions) with the benefits of in-person gatherings (such as hugs!).
How to make that happen? It's still not easy. Learn more at the session.
