What we’re about
It's been far too long since Adelaide had an Agile meetup. The purpose of this meetup includes:
- Highlight what's new and what's changing in Agile (Scrum/ XP/ Kanban/ etc)
- Discuss best practices in Agile (Planning sessions/ Grooming/ Retrospectives)
- Workshops/ exercises to promote best practices and share ideas
- Meet other agilists and share experiences
KATH MILNE
The Adelaide Agile Community is delighted to introduce Kath Milne, Management Consultant, Facilitator and Executive/Leadership Coach.
LEADERSHIP AGILITY AND AGILE CULTURE ESSENTIALS
When we ask clients to reimagine their organizations as truly agile, we hear them dream about organizations that are constantly evolving and learning, with fluid structures in which teams form and disband as needed, where capital flows easily toward promising ideas, where stakeholders (and especially customers) are involved as partners, leadership is democratized, and everyone collectively is reaching for an agreed-upon North Star that provides purpose, meaning, and alignment. All of these intuitions that arise when clients dream about what could be, are in line with the best of agile thinking and research. It’s clear that we know in our gut what’s needed.
This interactive session will highlight some key Semco Principles and Practices to help Create Agile Organisations along with how evolving the conscious practice of leadership has shown us what it actually takes to help leaders recreate their old-school organisations into flexible, agile, self-transforming organizations that can adjust on the fly to the changing conditions in the business environment.
