What we're about

We are one of the largest foodie group with special emphasis on all Asian cuisines with about 3,000 members. Meet other local foodies at many dining events who wish to share Asian food and explore new Asian restaurants around town. You don't need to be Asian to join, but you do need to love dining on Asian food! We will explore both high end gourmet as well as highly recommended local dives in search of great places to eat and meet like-minded people.

Asian cuisines we will dine on include: Chinese, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indonesian, Burmese, Nepalese, Filipino, Korean, Malaysian, Lao, Mongolian, Taiwanese, Pakistani, Turkish, Cambodian, and others.

The emphasis will be on quality food with a pleasant ambiance. Meetups will be scheduled in the San Gabriel Valley, West Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, the South Bay, Long Beach, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, Mid-Wilshire, and Orange County.

A real photo of yourself is requested for membership.

Attendance Policy: If you cancel with less than 48-72 hours, at the discretion of the event host or organizer, you will receive a strike,. If you no show, you will receive a strike. 2 strikes and you are suspended.

Chef and owner Kris Yenbamroong, an LA native, was a James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef semifinalist when he started out in 2016.
He was also a semifinalist as Best New Chef.

The late Jonathan Gold loved NIght + Market. Los Angeles magazine gives it two thumbs up.

The menu is short but sweet.

Pastrami pad kee mao (drunken noodles) caught my eye as pad kee mao is my favorite dish.

Kris's "world famous" friend chicken sandwich, northern Thai style, intrigues me.

His braised short ribs panang curry sounds inviting. Any Thai restaurant worth their salt has sticky rice. It's on the menu at Night + Market.

You have the OPTION of either ordering INDIVIDUALLY OR FAMILY STYLE.

We will be dining OUTDOOR OR INDOORS. Seating is very limited outdoors.

Whatever Covid regulations are then, we will follow them strictly.

All attendees must be fully vaccinated-

I will ask for your CDC Covid vaccination report card or an image on your phone or a photocopy.

Estimated cost is $35-45 but please bring $50 to $60. It's better to have too much than be caught short.

Cash only in 1s 5s 10s. Not $20s as that's a PITA to change.

NO credit cards, no separate checks.

At least 48 hrs notice if you must cancel. Members on the wait list need enough time to change their other plans and attend.

Night+ Market is an attractive restaurant. You will find the atmosphere upscale. Cool artwork and furnishings inside.

I am excited about eating at Night + Market!
