What we’re about
The Bay Area FileMaker Developer Group is a place to host presentations on cutting edge solutions, exchange ideas, discuss challenges the community is dealing with, and inspire you with creative new strategies. We cross-promote DIG-FM monthly meetings, which are hosted by Claris, at their HQ (when we could meet in person), and via WebEx with a worldwide audience, while we're all still mostly remote.
Occasionally we'll host other Group events such as trainings (free and/or paid), special topic presentations, and (in the future) social meetups at in-person events like Claris Engage (2022 and beyond!). If you are interested in solving problems, creating desktop, mobile or web solutions, this is a great group to join, and we welcome new members interested in learning and sharing more about creating solutions with the FileMaker platform.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER - Dan Shockley, Gotham DataWorks LLC
Dan Shockley is an expert database developer and consultant with over three decades of experience creating custom FileMaker solutions. As senior developer at a major New York City labor union, he led the design and maintenance of a system supporting more than 35,000 members, with deep integration of automation, external tools, and custom development workflows. Dan is a co-founder of Gotham DataWorks LLC, a boutique FileMaker consulting firm. He is also the creator of FmClipTools, an open-source utility that lets developers edit the XML behind FileMaker objects, enabling powerful transformations of copied elements before pasting them back into solutions.SCHEDULE
