What we’re about
Welcome to Bay Area Hiking, Walking, Wellness Club!
Where Healthy Living Meets Lifelong Friendships and Love!
Our club is all about embracing a healthy lifestyle, nurturing a positive mindset, and reveling in the beauty of nature. If you're someone who enjoys Green Exercise outdoor workouts, and can hike/walk 5-8 miles without health issues (do consult your personal physician), we invite you to join us.
Here's what makes us special:
*Transformative Events: Our club events bring people together, fostering new friendships and even sparking love stories. The benefits are profound, including better health, reduced stress, and the end of isolation.
*Safety First: Your well-being is our top priority. We strictly follow CDC guidelines and protocols. If you're feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to wait until you're better to join us.
For everyone's safety and convenience, we encourage carpooling among those who know each other well.
*Stunning Locations: We're fortunate living in the bay area to have shaded forests, mountain trails, and beach walks with amazing ocean sunsets nearby. Your suggestions for new areas to explore are always welcome.
*Convenient Scheduling: Enjoy our thoughtfully scheduled events, mostly in the late morning, afternoon, and evenings, to fit your personal schedule. Allowing you to get your beauty sleep, and even your morning 'errands' are merely a stylish sprint to fetch that perfect breakfast or cup of coffee.
*Inclusivity: Whether you're reuniting with old friends or looking to meet new people while exercising outdoors, you'll find a warm and welcoming community here.
**How does nature nurture the brain? **After a 60-minute walk in nature, activity in brain regions involved in stress processing decreases...
Mental health prescription: Nature
Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor.
Our Club events have a very positive impact on people's lives, people meet, fall in love💘 meet new friends, HAPPY, better health, less stress, anxiety, depression, isolate being alone and got extra bonus for LOVE 💞
*Note: We appreciate your support to keep our club thriving. Your donation/contribution helps cover our costs and enhance our meetups.
A small event fee helps cover organizing costs, including planning, permits, and many other expenses that go into making these events happen. A lot of time and effort goes into researching trails, securing permits, and managing unexpected challenges. Your support helps keep these adventures going—thank you for being part of the journey!
*When you attend our group events, implied consent is assumed for photography. If you prefer not to be photographed, please feel free to let people know.
Join us and be part of a community that not only promotes wellness but also nurtures lifelong friendships and, in some cases, love stories. We look forward to meeting you and making lasting memories together!
🌿 A Friendly Reminder from Your Host 🌿
Hi Everyone!
Just a quick note as we continue enjoying hikes, nature, and meals together as a community. These events are organized voluntarily, with a lot of care and heart — and I'm truly happy to see so many of you return and bring great energy to the group!
💡Please remember: Participation is completely voluntary.
🥾Trails are part of Mother Nature — sometimes rocky, sometimes windy, always full of surprises. 😊
🍲🍜Dinner spots are chosen for convenience and availability. Everyone’s taste is different, so please come with an open mind.
📵Phone service can be unreliable at trailheads, so double-check directions and arrive early if possible.
✨ I kindly ask everyone to bring a positive attitude, patience, and flexibility. Not everything will go perfectly — and that’s okay. What matters most is the shared experience, wellness, fresh air, and kindness to one another.
Thank you for being here and helping create a warm, kind and respectful community🌷

Langdon Court Parking, Langdon Ct, San Francisco, CA, USHello Ocean Lovers, Let's meet up go for a Green Exercise Wellness Hike at Golden Gate Bridge, Hanging out at beach, enjoy Ocean air, Viewing🛬Blue Angels Airshow and Healing Sea for our physical Health and Mental well-being😇
The Golden Gate Bridge: Presidio to Marin Headlands
It is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the one-mile-wide (1.6 km) strait connecting San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It is special for its iconic engineering and design, including its record-setting length when built, its distinctive International Orange color, Art Deco styling, and prominent foghorns. It is also a global symbol of American ingenuity, a vital transportation link for San Francisco and the Bay Area, and a beloved landmark that attracts millions of visitors annually to its spectacular setting at the entrance to San Francisco Bay.
The "Golden Gate Bridge" is named for the Golden Gate Strait, the entrance to San Francisco Bay from the Pacific Ocean. U.S. Army Captain John C. Frémont gave the strait this name in 1846, envisioning it as a "golden gate" for trade with the East, similar to the Golden Horn of Byzantium. The bridge spans this geographical feature, which was already known as the Golden Gate.
This famous bridge span, dedicated in 1937, is one of the world’s most spectacular and visited sites. A trip by foot offers visitors an excellent opportunity to understand Bay Area...
Kirby Cove Beach: Descend through a grove of cypress, eucalyptus and pine to a one-of-a-kind view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay as you look east to a panorama view of the city. The steep, mile-long trail to the cove begins at the parking area above Battery Spencer on Conzelman Road, which is eye-level with the bridge's towers.
On the way to Kirby Cove, you will find the most famous Golden Gate Bridge viewpoints, all located along Conzelman Road. Battery Spencer and Hawk Hill are two favorites.
Battery Spencer Overlook: Fort Baker 19th-century concrete battery featuring panoramic views of Golden Gate & San Francisco.
At almost 500 feet above the bay, this high cliff-top vantage point makes for great views today and was a prime location for big coastal defense guns...
Battery Spencer is called that because it was named for Major General Joseph Spencer, a Continental Army officer during the Revolutionary War, as a dedication from the United States Army upon its completion in 1897. The battery itself, located at Fort Baker in Marin County, was a reinforced concrete gun emplacement designed to protect the San Francisco harbor from naval attacks and was deactivated in 1942 during World War II
Key Points:
Purpose: Battery Spencer was built to defend the San Francisco Bay from enemy ships.
Naming Origin: It was named in honor of Major General Joseph Spencer, a Revolutionary War hero.
Construction: Construction began in 1893 and was completed in 1897 as part of the Endicott Era coastal defense plan.
Modern Use: Today, the guns have been removed, and the historic site serves as a popular viewpoint for visitors.Viewing🛬Blue Angels Airshow.

The waterfront event is headlined by The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and is the only air show in the United States with a commercial airliner, the United 777, to perform a fully choreographed act.The Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron has been flying the airshow circuit since April 1946 and is the second oldest unit of its kind.
