Join Befriend Host Tanya on a casual Roll & Stroll starting from The Dome @ Darius Wells on Robbos Lane in Kwinana Town Centre @ 9am every Wednesday morning, for an easy 20-30 minute circuit whilst taking in some fresh air. Due to the weather heating up we will still meet at the Dome but we may take a stroll in the air conditioned comfort of the shopping centre. We will decide on the morning when we start our meander... We have test driven this route with our feet pounding the pavement and also with some of our members wheels in motion & are confident it will suit everyone no matter their level of fitness or mobility with resting spots along the way for those that need a break. Afterwards you are welcome to join us for a cuppa (at your own expense) @ The Dome Cafe for some casual conversation. Tanya will be waiting outside The Dome's front entrance. We look forward to seeing you there.
Every Wednesday your welcome to call in just for a cuppa & chat to share your ideas with Inger - Community Builder for Befriend about what you would like to see happening @ Satterley's Land Sales Office aka - The Hive in Honeywood This is a unique opportunity for Befriend to help spark connections in your local community. Satterley have offered us one of their modified Display Homes for the purpose of creating an all inclusive, welcoming space for the residents of Wandi & surrounding areas to come together with like minded individuals. We are excited to have the Craftybees of Honeywood scheduled to be starting their Craft Group on Wednesday, 18th September - 9.30am WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON @ THE HIVE 4 Barakee Road, Honeywood
Meet at the car park at the bottom of the Manning Stairs (near the grass). We start with a walk around the lake and then go up the stairs to the lookout. From there we walk along the bush trail along the limestone ridge and back down to park near the old homestead. The pace is up to you. We have some people who like to add a little intensity to their walk and some who like to cruise. All up it's a great walk with some beautiful views and some friendly conversation. Approximately 4km and 60 mins walking time.
Join Linda and this lovely group for a casual coffee and bring along your latest crochet or knitting project or start something new. For beginners there is plenty of spare wool to try out and many helpful hands to show you the ropes (or the wools as the case may be :-) Every Wednesday Cost: Free to come and join in, just buy your own food and beverages
