Host Your Own Event Workshop

Purpose Studio

Who's the Host with the Most? You are! Maybe you just don't know it yet... At this fun and friendly workshop, you'll learn more about how to plan and host your own social gatherings, and start your own social/interest group. Meet other aspiring Hosts, learn from the experiences of others, and get involved in some fun exercises to help you think about how you might get started with Hosting a group. Experienced Hosts looking to further develop their skills and connect with others are most welcome too! Please bring 100 points of identification (https://www.police.wa.gov.au/Police-Direct/National-Police-Certificates/Proof-of-identity) so we can complete a police clearance! You do not pay for this clearance, we do. If you are concerned about completing a clearance please get in touch; having something on your record doesn't automatically mean you can't volunteer. All those who attend this Workshop will have 'Hosting' privileges added to their user profile, so that you can post your own events on this site, access free resources and training and connect with a community of other Hosts. This is also the first step for all other volunteers, to get a basic understanding of Befriend, its history, values, and more!
