Complete your celebration of the High Holidays by joining Beth Ami for a heartfelt open air Humanistic Jewish Yom Kippur service. Then round out the evening with conversation over a Break-the-Fast dinner at Under the Sun Eatery and Pizzeria.

We will meet up at the Martin Park Picnic Shelter, at 5:00pm. Mezzo Soprano Eve Orenstein will begin by singing Kol Nidre, the traditional Aramaic prayer. Then we will continue with a modern Humanistic service.

Free to Beth Ami congregation members and children under 18. Adult guest are $5. Additional donations of any amount are always welcome.

Some of our Beth Ami members fast for Yom Kippur and many do not. Either way, we invite you to join us after the service to celebrate life and “Break-the-fast” at Under the Sun Eatery and Pizzeria, at 627 South Broadway, where we will be ordering off the menu. Feel welcome to join us even if you are unable to attend the Yom Kippur service! We plan to meet up at the restaurant at about 7:00.

If you are looking for more Humanistic High Holiday involvement, we are also holding a Rosh Hashanah/Tashlich event. Look for our Meetup post!
