What we're about
Upcoming events (4+)
Join Dennis Mumm and Dan Eschbach for a “no drop” recovery ride every Monday. There may be several groups so all speeds are welcome.
Distance will be determined by those in attendance. Usually it should be around 15-20 miles.
Note that lights are required during the winter months. (Darn darkness)
We will use the bike paths & nearby roads so we can change the route from time to time.
Remember to bring $$$’s so we can refuel afterwards.🍺🍻

Road ride. C Pace (~15mph) for about 15 miles.
Social No Drop Ride
Where: Lake Bluff Metra Train Station
We will start riding from the Metra Train Station in Lake Bluff. The route will be a beautiful meandering mix of paved trails and back streets that will quite literally snake its way up and down the moraine that runs along the length of Lake Michigan. A winding path through Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Highland Park will be explored.
Note that parking is free after 6pm at the station, so no need to feed the pay box.
Questions? Contact the ride leaders: Robin Martin ([masked]) and Don Mahan ([masked] )
This week's ride will start from Fox River Park in Silver Lake instead of St. Benedict Abbey. Fox River Park is on Hwy F just east of Hwy W that runs north from Wilmot Wisconsin. After turning into the park, take the first left turn into the parking lot.
We usually return by 12:15 pm. 25 to 60 mile road ride (distance increases as the season progresses) at a C Pace (12 to 16 mph).
Looking forward to renewing acquaintances with each of you! Greg Hall
Road ride with various pace groups from “A” to “C” depending on who shows up to lead. At a minimum we should always have an “A” group doing 22 miles and a “B” group doing 20 miles. Cue sheets are available for both routes.
Ride start is at Tighthead Brewing 161 Archer Ave., Mundelein (Next to the Metra station). Please park in the furthest spaces east of the brewery (closest to the tracks).
