What we're about

If you don't believe in supernatural entities or powers, if you are concerned about religious intolerance or religiously motivated violence, if you rely on human reasoning and science to guide your decisions and behavior, if you have a naturalistic view of the world, or you just don't believe in God or gods, you are not alone. The Boulder Atheists group provides presentations, meetings, and serves as a social community for atheists, agnostics, rationalists, secular humanists, Brights, and free thinkers in and around Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Broomfield, and surrounding communities in Northern Colorado.

Boulder Atheists wish to promote the understanding and acceptance of atheism with public education, good deeds, public activities and affiliations with other local and national secular groups. We strive to be inclusive to ALL and promote gender equality, LGBTQ equality and racial justice.

We have regular presentations on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month virtually on Zoom. You can also join us during our weekly Thursday Night Zoom events. Our events will be posted on the Meetup calendar and on the Events page of our website. All of our events are open to the public.

Please visit our official website at www.boulderatheists.org (http://www.boulderatheists.org/) for additional information and links. You can join and support our group as a paying member by going to This Page (https://www.boulderatheists.org/membership).

Note: Since not all of our community members use Meetup, the attendance numbers listed here may not reflect the total number of people attending the events.

Secular Community Trivia Night

Online event

Join our new regular community trivia night and social event through Zoom with a slight heathen touch. It will be on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7:00 pm, alternating with the Thursday Hangout. We got help from a trivia guru in Dallas who runs a very popular trivia night with teams that collaborate in breakout rooms. The Boulder Atheists are hosting the event and we are inviting other local secular groups, along with anyone else to compete and socialize, so there are more players than the RSVP count here. There will be 3 rounds of questions from various categories. We'll create teams by group or you can be assigned to a team. You must RSVP before the meeting start time to see the Zoom link. For smart devices, install the free Meetup app and RSVP for the link. You can also contact us on our website to request the zoom link. https://www.boulderatheists.org/contact
