About us
A group of trail runners that are as serious about their trail running as the breakfast that follows. We enjoy diversity in our trails, restaurants, and running cohorts. Many runs are in the Boulder area; however we also look to get into the high country as much as possible. Runs are typically on Saturday mornings. The duration varies from about 2 hour to 4+ depending on location, group fitness, schedules, etc. Terrain can range from easy flat to steep technical. Pace can vary widely however we never let anyone forget why they joined a group.

Run South St. Vrain Trail
South St. Vrain Trailhead, Beaver Res Rd. (CR 96) & Peak To Peak Hwy, 2.5 miles north of Brainard Lake Rd on Peak to Peak Hwy, Lyons, CO, USFor this Saturday, we will be running the South St. Vrain Trail starting from Peak to Peak Hwy off of Beaver Reservoir Rd. and running into the Brainard Lake Recreational Area.
ROUTE
This route is an out/back and is a steady climb of around 1800 ft. It’s not overly steep, so it is a good entry point for a mid-level higher altitude run. The trail ends at the Mitchell Lake trailhead. Turning around at this point will give you around 12 miles. For those interested, we will extend on the Blue & Mitchell Lake Trail and run to Mitchell Lake for a total of around 14 miles. Plan for around 4 hours. The shorter option is to turn back at any time. The longer option is to extend to Blue Lake (closer to 18 mile and 2700 ft).
