- Loop from Doudy DrawDoudy Draw Trailhead, Boulder, CO
This Saturday we’ll meet at the Doudy Draw trailhead south of Boulder at 8:00a and run one of our classic loops. The route will include Doudy Draw, Spring Brook, Goshawk, Fowler, Old Mesa, Shadow Canyon South Spur, and Mesa. Plan for 2.5 to 3 hours and around 9.5 to 12 miles (~2k gain). Including Shadow Canyon North and Upper Big Bluestem will get us to 12, but can be easily excluded if you prefer.
Dogs are allowed, except for Goshawk, so you’ll need to take the service road and meet us at Fowler (it’s roughly the same distance, just not single-track).
To get to the trailhead, head south out of Boulder on Hwy 93. Turn right (west) on Eldorado Springs Drive and go about 2 miles. The trailhead will be on the left (south side of road).
For vehicles not registered in Boulder County, you'll need to pay for parking ($5), or park at the park-n-ride at Hwy 93 and Marshall Drive and coordinate a carpool. Post carpool requests in the discussion below.
