This class takes ring-making to a new level. We'll look at different styles of ring shanks and multiple adornments for your cabochon. Learn different bezel techniques as well as cabochon setting. De-mystify silver soldering and pick up little tips that will make all the difference as you apply these techniques to your work. This class will boost your confidence in using a torch and creating beautiful rings you can be proud of.
We’ll discuss picking cabochons and what to look for when purchasing a cab. Learn how to silver solder, sweat solder, texturing techniques and polishing/finishing. Learn how to work with a heavy (20 gauge) bezel, chisel and cut it, then make an overlay shank and set the cab
