What we're about

Until further notice, all meetings will be online only, via Zoom (see Zoom info below).

We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month (unless New Year's Day or the 4th of July or another event gets in the way) to provide networking time and a speaker who will address topics pertinent to job seekers. See below and/or click on "Events" above to see upcoming events.

BoulderNet is free and open to the public. All are welcome! We encourage serious job seekers! Meetings are from 9 to approx. 11 a.m.

We are a job search networking & presentations group with members from diverse professional backgrounds. Unlike networking groups focused on a specialized profession, members may exchange information on any inside company contacts they may have without increasing the level of competition for the kinds of jobs they are personally seeking.

We host high-quality job search and career development speakers at our meetings. These speakers provide professional guidance on increasing members' job hunting skills and often offer a certain amount of individualized service for free.

There are so many changes in the corporate world, and a loss of job security in today's employment market. We at BoulderNet are seeing an increased interest in people wanting to learn more about employment opportunities, career networking, and self-employment in Colorado.

All attendees have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their job search goals and target companies. Constructive feedback, resources, leads, referrals and encouragement from all attending will be encouraged.

Upcoming schedule (scroll down for more info on each meeting and how to join each meeting):
7/7 Nancy Littleford - career and life coach - https://www.linkedin.com/in/nancylittleford
7/21 Dan Wegner of Thriive Coaching and Consulting

We currently typically have 15-20 attendees at meetings (the # of attendees listed on Meetup for past meetings doesn't include attendees who are not Meetup members nor Meetup members who don't RSVP).

We appreciate Dan Wegner of Thriive (spelled correctly) Coaching & Consulting sponsoring BoulderNet: 720 201-4782, Dan@ThriiveGroup.com, www.linkedIn.com/in/DanWegner1.

BoulderNet - Nancy Littleford, life and career coach

This meeting will be online (via Zoom) only. See Zoom info below.

Nancy Littleford will present "Blueprint for a Well-Lived Life." We spend an average of 125,000 hours of our lives at work and our work life impacts our mental and physical well-being, our relationships and can either leave us feeling like we've wasted our lives or that we've LIVED them. If you need to change jobs, find a new career or enter another industry, how do you figure out your next best step? Nancy will show you tangible ways to get there and provide inspiration to help fuel your journey.

Nancy is a relationship-focused professional with over 20 years in roles that help people and organizations achieve their maximum potential. She provides virtual therapy and strategies for clients seeking to live a more meaningful life. She has a varied career with a unique depth and breadth of healthcare experience spanning more than 20 years. As a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1998, her education, training and experience in behavioral health have allowed her to be an advocate, change-agent and tireless relationship-builder. Nancy has spent the past 14 years immersed in population and community health initiatives in a variety of roles, including disease management programs, and corporate wellness, along with consulting and community health improvement projects. Like many people the pandemic forced her to rethink what is important to her and she decided to leave the corporate world to refocus her professional life and restart her therapy practice to serve the mental health needs of others through her own lived experience with life’s toughest challenges. In addition to therapy, she has taken a 20-year avocation as a career coach and make it part of her practice to help others navigate their own COVID pivot to find meaningful work. She has a BA degree in English literature from the University of Colorado – Denver and a MA degree in Counseling Psychology from Regis University. She is Chair of the External Advisory Board for Metropolitan State University’s Health Institute, is a Displaced Aurarian and volunteers with the Auraria Historical Advocacy Council helping members of that community access free tuition at the schools on the Auraria campus. She is a first-generation American and native of Denver, she spends free time cooking, reading, and enjoying her recent empty nest with her husband, Ken. They live in Ken Caryl Ranch and serve as the unofficial welcome wagon and kindness ambassadors with the neighbors on their cul-de-sac. Nancy is a fervent advocate for social-good in all its forms from the smallest gesture to the biggest
governmental policy.

We recommend RSVPing at https://www.meetup.com/BoulderNet-Meetup. RSVPing will help you network which can be very important for your job search.
