Announcing a new meeting for Phoenix Writing Workshop!

What: Tuesday Meetup *** LOCATION CHANGE ***

When: Tuesday, April 8, 7:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meeting Description: We are going to try a new place on Tuesdays to see if we can get some real food instead of muffins.

This is an informal gathering that is designed to promote getting critical feedback on work. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring short works such as poetry or 4-5 double spaced pages of prose. If you can bring a few copies, even better.

The general flow is some gab time at first. Then people will read the works out loud (or ask someone else to) one at a time and usually ask for feedback. Some people want help with their work, others might just want grammar lessons. If someone has lots of feedback, it is usually best to mark up a copy and hand it back.

The meeting generally lasts about two hours. If someone has to leave early, let everyone know so your work can be read first.

If the meeting fills up and you want to attend, please RSVP no with a comment like 'wanted to attend but the meeting was full'.

If your plans change, please change your RSVP. The last meeting there were 6 yes RSVPs and I was the only one there. I don't mind canceling the meeting if no one can make it but me.
