Join us this week as we get together for a Split/Screen event that features a pair of great summer films! For this event, you'll have your choice of the following: On Screen 1 is the sci-fi film that picks up 20 years after the first one left off: INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE! On Screen 2, it's the story of a poor farmer from Mississippi who leads a group of rebels against the Confederate army in FREE STATE OF JONES! FREE STATE OF JONES: Set during the Civil War, Free State of Jones tells the story of defiant Southern farmer and his extraordinary armed rebellion against the Confederacy. Banding together with other small farmers and local slaves, he launches an uprising that led Jones County, Mississippi to secede from the Confederacy, creating a Free State of Jones. He continued his struggle into Reconstruction, distinguishing him as a compelling, if controversial, figure of defiance long beyond the War. FREE STATE OF JONES: For those planning to see this film, purchase your ticket for the 6:30pm showing and meet Dan inside the theater lobby between 6:00 and 6:15pm! We'll head over to Champp's after the show (around 9:10pm) for food and drinks!

INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE: For those planning to see this film, purchase your ticket for the 7:40pm showing and meet Derek inside the theater lobby between 7:10 and 7:25pm. Those who are up for a late-night bite will join the earlier group at Champp's around 10pm.
