Coronado Catamaran Sailing Pages

Coronado Catamaran Sailing was created in response to the lack of dedicated Catamaran sailing venues on Meet up. I've found that there are plenty of mono-hull sailing opportunities but if you don't like a boat to heel when sailing or have to stand or walk at a 30 degree angle or more, then this is the Meet up group for you. Catamarans are just so darn stable and they may heel about 5 degrees, which is negligible for all intents and purposes so you can leave your Dramamine pills at home. It makes for a very comfortable and stable sailing option that mono-hulls can't beat.

Along with the stable ride is that you can go anywhere on the deck of the boat without too much worry about falling overboard and there are even seats up front for you to sit on and watch the water rush by below your feet. At the stern of the boat, there is also a 3 person hammock to sit and rest on while underway. It's the most coveted place on the boat and a great place to chat, relax and have a drink with your fellow sailors. The boat has a full head so that being out on the water for a long time is not a problem as you don't have to hold it all in for hours at a time.

Welcome aboard!
