Computer Visionaries 2014

A Kinect hack-a-thon sponsored by Microsoft.

Come learn from the Kinect engineers who built the SDK and present your ideas to them.

Friday, July 18th @ 5:00PM – Saturday, July 19th @11:00PM; Taking place at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center ( in the historic west end district of downtown Dallas.

Do you have a burning desire to shape the future of computing? Are you into bleeding edge technologies? Will you dedicate 2 days to build world changing technology, here in Dallas? If so you or your team could win up to $1,500 in cash and prizes.

Developers, hackers, designers, entrepreneurs, roboticists, engineers, or anyone else interested in shaping the future of computing are welcome to attend Computer Visionaries 2014. The new Kinect for Windows v2 has all new technology and an advanced SDK so you can build amazing projects that use gesture, body tracking, voice, and more to build games, business applications, usability software and other countless other applications. **Kinect sensors will be provided for the duration of the event **

**A limited number of Windows 8 PCs will be provided to those who don't have a machine capable of supporting development**

Attendees are asked to bring the following if available:
* A laptop/tablet/computer running Windows 8 (preferably supports the Kinect v2 sensor, but not required)
* Your Kinect v2 sensor (optional)
* A problem in need of a Kinect based solution (optional)

parking is $3-$5 a day.
