One principle he called Faith: Visualizing and Believing in the Attainment of Desire. Another key principle was Imagination: The Workshop of the Mind. What many people call Vision, particularly a vision that is held firmly in the mind as a definite goal, is the combination of imagination and faith. Another principle called out by Hill was Decision: The Mastery of Procrastination. Hill had studied thousands of people, including hundreds who were among the most successful people of the time, over a period of 20 years. And the single most important factor that he identified for success was Decision, particularly the ability to make decisions quickly and to stick with those decision. Learning Objectives: Project managers will learn critical insights into the power of vision and decision when applied to achieving greater success in their personal lives, in their role and relationship to the business organization, and in projects. PMs will learn: • The relationship between your thinking and your results • A technique for creating a clear vision for what you desire to achieve • How paradigms (patterns of thinking) can block you personally and in business • A proven method of overcoming paradigms when they arise • How committing to your vision can tap into hidden powers within you PDU Categories: Leadership, 1.5 PDUs SPEAKER: RAYMOND POSCH, CPM/PMP/ITIL, Certified Life Coach, Founder of Live Your Success LLC, (liveyoursuccess.com) About the Speaker.
