Welcome back DevOps enthusiasts - this is a free event with an amazing agenda:

### 1. Architecting Kubernetes Clusters for High-Traffic Websites by Daniele at Learnk8s.

### 2. Cloud-Native Database on Kubernetes by Genie at Couchbase.

### Title: Architecting Kubernetes Clusters for High-Traffic Websites

Abstract: In this talk, you will learn how to deploy the NGINX Ingress Controller and autoscale it based on the number of active requests with Prometheus and KEDA on Kubernetes.

Bio: Daniele is an instructor at Learnk8s, where he teaches Kubernetes and containers to small and large enterprises.

### Title: Couchbase Cloud-Native Database on Kubernetes

Abstract: While developing the modern application, and the journey to the cloud, businesses face the following challenges:

  • Database siloes - Businesses that adopt microservices architectures find it difficult to manage and scale siloed database clusters alongside those applications
  • Cloud vendor lock-in - Toggling between cloud providers can be extremely complicated because there is little industry standardization
  • High operational costs - Deploying and managing hundreds of application and database across multiple geographies increases complexity and cost while reducing agility

Couchbase on containers and Kubernetes provides a powerful cloud-native data platform with autonomous database management capabilities. Join us on the journey to discover more about Couchbase on Kubernetes.

Bio: Genie is the Head of Field Engineering for Asia-Pacific region at Couchbase. He spent his entire career (18+ years) on delivering data solution in the field. In his recent roles, he is focusing his time with the technology vendor to bring the best possible solution for enterprise customer. Genie is also an adjunct professor teaching Management Consulting and Project Based Learning in MBA programs.
