Talk by Jane Ellen Bleeg: "Walking in Faith's Mist"
In this new ongoing series, our resident teacher, Sue Kochan, will be inviting established practitioners of the Buddha Dharma to share their personal experiences as modern day practitioners of this ancient wisdom tradition. These talks are intended to deepen our personal and collective wisdom and our joy in walking the path accompanied by the supporting fellowship of Sangha. No experience is required. Everyone is welcome. We begin the evening with a period of silent meditation. We offer guided meditation to support beginners and always start by explaining our practice. After a brief tea break, we will gather again to enjoy Dave's talk. The Dharma Center and restrooms are handicapped accessible. See our full calendar of events. Visit our FAQ page if you're considering attending the first time and have questions. (

What we're about

This group is sponsored by Dharma Refuge. Dharma Refuge is a community of people dedicated to walking the path of wakefulness through a deep exploration of Buddhist wisdom and the conditions of life, just as we find them. We practice self-reflection, inquiry, mindfulness, meditation and the cultivation of Bodhichitta—the wish to be awakened in order to benefit all living beings. We study and practice under the guidance of local teacher and spiritual director Sue Kochan and visiting teacher Anam Thubten, whose lineage and vision inspired the founding of our community. Our practices, classes and retreats welcome everyone into a safe, non-dogmatic sacred space to explore the teachings of the Buddha and to experience the refuge within, our own awakened nature. Everyone is welcome to join us for a weekly practice, introductory class, public talk, urban retreat. All that's required is your wise and open heart. :-)
