What we're about
This meetup is what it sounds like. A chillaxed time and place to make art together, geek out, and maybe enjoy a nice adult beverage.
But it’s also a community. Whether you’ve just started with making manga fanart, or can draw (or paint) hands in your sleep, we’re all on this journey towards artistic mastery. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some companionship along the way? And feedback, encouragement, inspiration and shared know-how, to boot. Do what you need to do to get to where you want to be. We’ll be here with our art supplies and half-full glasses. See you soon!

I've got at least 2 theme ideas for anyone looking for inspiration! First up, for the Michael Bay fans, is "explosions!" Need I say more? I didn't think so. Then, for the over-achievers among us, there's "fictional country independence," affording the opportunity to conceive and illustrate an entire fictional nation-state, how it threw off its fictional oppressors, how it celebrates that momentous occasion etc, etc
