What we're about

A fitness and socializing group for anyone 55 and above, "Baby Boomers", who like to stay fit, active, and healthy!
You don't necessarily have to be in that age range to be a part of our group, but if you love staying fit in the daytime, live a (reasonably) healthy lifestyle, love exercise in a group setting, and (it helps) if you love the popular culture of the time period when most "Baby Boomers" were growing up (rock n' roll, drive in movies, etc.), then this group is for you!

We meet at a variety of locations in the Tri City for group exercise classes and we also do after exercise get togethers (pot lucks) with either a retro '50's/'60's movie show, or just hanging out after.

The whole point is to stay healthy, stay fit, keep moving with exercise classes designed for Baby Boomers, and most of all, to have FUN!

Fitness, Food, A Documentary, & Dancing!

SLIM Fitness

We'll be ringin' (n' rockin') in 2022 with this FREE vintage fitness, dance, and food event at SLIM Fitness!

We will also be premiering instructor Mike Quebec's latest YouTube documentary video, a feature-length historical project that explores an aspect of 1950's Rock n' Roll that hasn't been looked at in full detail before.... until now.

It's an in-depth look at the 1950's "juvenile delinquency" scare and how that "hysteria" affected the direction that Rock n' Roll took in the days before The British Invasion.

In between, we will have a free fitness kickboxing class (for those who want to sweat!), a free seniors aerobic fitness class (where we get our heart rate going to the rockin'-est vintage rockabilly and doo-wop cuts from out of Mike's personal collection) and then, it's a break for eating and the documentary.

Stews and breads will keep us fueled after the aerobics portion before the premier of the documentary.

And after the viewing of the documentary is done, a vintage, beginner-friendly, swing dance lesson will be in the offering as well 4 hour all ages afternoon swing dance, for both the young and the young at heart, as we spin the most danceable and energetic, rockabilly, teen pop, and girl group sounds of the 1950s and early '60s.
