ABOUT THE EVENT

Let's have dinner together at Lawless Burger in Menteng. They have burgers, hotdogs, fries, nachos, beers, milkshakes.

Friday night is the time to chill. What better way than sitting together and making new friends in a friendly, informal setting? After burgers, we can walk and continue our evening at one of the many places nearby. We will choose together where to go depending on our mood.

Newcomers are particularly welcome! Come alone or with a friend or partner. There won't be a shared bill. Everyone will pay for what they consume.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Lawless is a very decent joint and there will be tables reserved for us. The price range for a burger and drink is about 100 IDR and up.

• Let's meet directly at Lewless Menteng in Sarinah. There are tables reserved for us (non-smoking area)
• Don't arrive earlier of the event starts at 7.30 PM -- we want to start together
• Feel free to arrive later. The last order is at around 10.00 PM, I guess. You can also join us after dinner if you prefer, or join only to socialise without eating (please order at least one drink our of respect for the venue)
• After burgers, we can go have a drink nearby. Text in the comment section if you want to find us later during the evening
• We encourage you to reach the event by public transportation. MRT stop Bundaran HI is only 5 minutes walking distance

HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?

To register, just click “Attend”! There are a few simple rules

• We kindly ask attendees who cannot manage to join to update RSVP at least 24 h before the event as a courtesy to other attendees and event organisers.
• People on the waitlist cannot attend, and are encouraged to check a few hours before the event if they got a spot
• Repeated no-show (3X) without updating RSVP will be removed from the group.
• Cancellation at the last minute is unfriendly for other attendees, organisers, and venue. Please cancel whitin 2 hours for exceptional circumstances only. Otherwise it will count as no-show!
• Attendees who bring a +1 are responsible to make sure that the guest understands and agrees to our rules of respect and inclusivity.

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our community has a monthly membership fee that can be paid through the app (2 USD/month or about 33k IDR/month).

Membership can also be paid as a yearly membership of 320k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to first-timers (Option A), who can become members for 240k IDR/year.

First-timers can decide to join with Option B: sneek peak price of 50k IDR & pay the remaining 270k IDR at the next event they attend. Registered +1 can attend for free.

Renewals (after 365 days) and upgrades (to join JakCre) are offered at a special rate. All this is aimed at encouraging people to sign up, and then to attend as many events as they like!

Membership to both Jakarta Friends and Jakarta Creatives is offered for only 390k IDR/year (Option C). ABOUT THE EVENT

Let's play tourists for a day. We're gonna hop on a Free Tour Bus (an EMoney or BCA Flazz card will be needed) and explore the sights around Jakarta City Central. We can take in the city's skyscrapers and vibrant lights while catching up with each other and connect with new friends.

It's a two-level bus. We'll begin our journey at Monas, specifically at Halte IRTI. Let's gather there at 4 pm to catch the last bus of the day.
From Monas, the bus will head to Bundaran Senayan. Then to Juanda Street before returning to Monas. The entire trip takes about an hour, depending on traffic conditions.

If you want to join only for dinner at the venue (see below 👇🏽) it's possible but it's your responsibility to find the group and wait to have a free seat at the restaurant, etc. (the group cannot wait for you!)

ABOUT THE VENUE

After the bus tour we'll stroll over to Kawisari Cafe & Eatery (a roughly 10-minute walk). They serve a range of local dishes. Over there we can grab an afternoon snack or dinner while enjoying authentic conversations amidst their traditional architecture. They also have various beers on the menu.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join this very special event and take a look at luxury cars (Ferrari, Porsches, and more) before heading up to a cozy rooftoop café & resto with a stunning view of the elevated MRT train and the JakSel skyline, have a bite and drink with fellow Jakarta Friends and play a few rounds of free pool (billiard) in this fabulous terrace overlooking the city!

An informal and intimate evening where we favour authentic connections and conversations instead of big, loud group where you don't manage to go past the superficial "where are you from" and "what do you do" questions.

When checking in, everyone will be reminded not to use their phone. This is an event were we disconnect and enjoy each other presence! No phones are allowed for the duration of the event! Will you manage? 😉

Our events are introvert friendly and we favour authenticity! Everyone is always welcome to join our events. For this event, we have chosen a small café with an astonishing view and a delicious and diverse food menu. The location is excellent and the view of the MRT train passing a few meters away is absolutely epic.

At the entrance of the building there is a shop for luxury cars and you are invitated to take a stroll and feel free to buy one 😉 Be prepared to identify yourself with ID at the entrance for security reasons. Then you can head up with the elevator to the rooftop terrace (having both an inside area with airco and outside/smoking area with pool table). A table is reserved for us under the name "MeetUp".

The event starts at 6.30 PM and I strongly recommend to arrive on time. The kitchen closes at 8 PM for the last order. Don't be late and don't miss this opportunity to have an authentic evening with locals and international new friends. We will ask for a split bill and everyone will be paying what they consume. Pool is free!

Just join and enojoy a simple and wonderful occasion to connect authentically with people. We will sit down and eat togehter. Everyone is welcome to join. First-timers particularly welcomed! Our community is inclusive and favours autentic connections and conversations.

We will meet from 7.30 PM and share some delicious food! I encourage everyone to be on time so that we can decide together what to order and try many different things. At the end, we will share the bill in equal parts (except for the booze). You can arrive later but be aware that we might already have started eating. If you prefer to order your own food and pay your own bill, that's possible, but please communicate this clearly to avoid miscommunications. The idea is that we share food and try many different dishes!
