Future Directions in Education Meet Up: Preparing for 2025

Take higher education into the future! This meet up is open to all who are interested in discussing the future of higher education and the role of technology and pedagogy in education. Share your ideas about teaching and learning, best practices, technology, project-based learning, universal design, and future directions in education. This is an opportunity to think out of the box about education and to collaborate to meet the needs up current and future learners.

This meet up is facilitated by Dr. Adam Karp and Dr. Lisa Lawrenson.

Adam is the Dean of Fine & Applied Arts at American River College and formerly a language teacher. He is a community college leader; learning futurist; creativity, innovation, and technology enthusiast.

Lisa is the Associate Vice President of Instruction at American River College and formerly an English teacher. As a community college leader she is passionate about serving students, social justice, equity, diversity, and access to education.
