DESERT BLOOM CAMPING TRIP - SAVE THE DATE FRIDAY - SUNDAY MARCH 20-22

DESERT BLOOM CAMPING TRIP - SAVE THE DATE FRIDAY - SUNDAY MARCH 20-22

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, 200 Palm Canyon Dr, Borrego Springs, CA, US

Let’s plan to go on this camping trip again when the desert is in bloom. Remember that there are hotels nearby if you don't want to stay in a tent. Reserve those now if you can.

We don’t yet know whether it will be a super bloom, but it will be unique and beautiful regardless. Anza-Borrego is world famous for its spectacular wildflower displays — a desert bloom that can carpet the landscape in color in wet years, making it one of the most memorable bloom destinations in North America. We’ll be keeping an eye on the flower forecast and will keep you informed as conditions develop.

We’ll be reposting an updated event schedule shortly to reflect this change in focus. Because the desert is typically much busier during bloom season, we weren’t able to secure the same campsites, even though we rescheduled while we were there in November during the storms. Our sites are a bit spread out, but we do have a designated group site where we’ll gather.

### Campsite Logistics

  • We have campsites 90 and 120 and campsite 114 reserved.
  • We also have Group 3 (G1–G5) tent campsites reserved for two nights.
  • Campsite 062 is reserved for one night.
  • Campsite 028 is reserved for Saturday night only and includes a camper hookup for $53.25.
  • If you choose campsite 028, please be prepared to pay for that site separately, in addition to the $45 fee that covers food and the group sites.

If you’re planning to join us, please sign up now so we can plan food and activities accordingly. Let us know if you only want one night so we can plan.
