The 2016 Viewpoint Photography Holiday Pooch Photo Shoot to benefit LI-DOG is ON! Join us for this special holiday photo session for dogs from noted photographer Pamela Setchell of Viewpoint Photography.

Get an unforgettable 5x7 finished portrait of your dog on a beautiful winter-themed set designed by Scarsella’s of Laurel Hollow—all for $40. Great NEW holiday cards and holiday card packages, extra prints, gift tags, ornaments and other items with your dog’s photo are also available for purchase.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to LI-DOG to support our work to get more access to public parks and beaches for Long Island dog owners and their dogs.

Since this is a special, discounted photo session, no appointment is necessary—it’s first-come, first-serve. However, in order to cut down on wait times, people with three or more dogs, special needs dogs, and those who want to get themselves or their family into the picture are asked to please call the studio at[masked] for an appointment. Additional photo sessions will be available on Sunday and a few days the following week.

Once again, A Rise Above Bake Shop (333 Main St., Huntington Village) is donating a big platter of their delicious homemade cookies for our human guests! Besides their yummy cookies, they also make great scones and a delicious sour cream chocolate cake. Stop by the shop before or after the Pooch Shoot for a yummy treat.

In addition, this year we welcome Deb's Healthy Pet Center to the Pooch Shoot. Deb is providing her delicious all natural pet snacks and treats to all our canine guests! Check out all the yummy dog treats Deb makes at Deb's Healthy Pet Center ( the web.

Please note: The Pooch Shoot is back at the wonderful, old location, generously donated by TK’s Galley Restaurant, on Huntington Harbor, but it can be a bit hard to find. There are actually two 133 New York Avenues. If you haven’t gone straight through two traffic circles as you head north on New York Avenue, you haven’t gone far enough.

We hope to see you and your dogs on the 12th!

This is an important fundraiser for LI-DOG, so please join us for this very special event!
