What we're about
Upcoming events (5+)
Time for some summer music at the Vineyard. One of my fave ladies is performing with her band. Carole Anne Jones and the Superchargers. Music typically plays from 6:30 to 8:30. It’s good idea to be early and reserve your spot! Bring your set up for a picnic with a blanket or chair. You can find us behind the US Flag perched from a lawn chair. There are food trucks and beer and wine for purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted. This event is very friendly family and often really crowded and also a lot of fun! We hope to see you there and let us know if you have any questions.
***Hey everyone- due to the amount of planning and coordinating to make this all flow smoothly, please read through its entirety and keep posted on updates in the comment section*** Join us for an overnight or two at Ricker Pond state park. The park is pet friendly ($1/pet per night-please tell me in advance so we can add this to the reservation) The campground is near hiking and mountain biking through Groton state forest, and has swimming/boating access. Bring your kayaks, canoes, SUP etc. All campgrounds are 2 night minimum when booked after 6/15, so I’ll plan to book Fri 23rd-Sun 25th (fri, sat night w/checkout by 11am sun) but feel free to camp one night or both! There can be up to 8 campers per site. I’ll start by booking one site and add on as needed. Cost will be dependent on # of people, but plan on $10-15. I’ll try to select the largest site available so we can put up a few tents. As long as layout is fit, I plan to camp in my hammock; feel free to do the same, but have a backup in case tree layout is not ideal. **When you RSVP, please indicate which nights you plan to stay, and your accommodations (tent size, hammock etc) so we can plan number of sites we need to book. If anyone is willing to share their tent, comment as well. Carpooling is recommended as on site parking will be limited and there is cost for additional vehicles. We’ll plan for a potluck dinner on Saturday night so bring a shareable dish. Day passes are available as well for those who want to visit during the day. Please see website for campground info: https://vtstateparks.com/ricker.html
Got Taco? Come join us in an electric atmosphere showcasing some of Montreal’s best chefs next Saturday, 31st. This event takes place in the same place as the Poutine Fest did a few weeks ago. What to do? Buy your admission $9.95 ticket 🎫 now for the 5 to 7 show. Make sure your passport is current. This event is for adults only 18 and older with valid ID. Carpooling is ideal! Let us know if you’d like to share a ride. The food at the festival is a separate cost and there is no re-entry and you can also stay in the festival as long as you’d like. Lastly- some of us have been talking about sharing a hotel room or Air Bnb. If you’re interested- please let us know. We all want to have a fantastic and safe time! Please don’t forget to let us know you’re going - We don’t anyone to get lost or left behind! Any questions, please ask. Website details - http://tacofestmtl.com/en/
