Woodland Witches Yule 2020 ** online **Ceremony

As Winter approaches, nights are long. Day light is short. We look for light & hope.. both within and outside! And in the deep caverns below the Earth, the great Goddess gives birth to the Sun-Child!

Looking for Hope, and holding on to our magic and our faith has never been more relevant or harder than it is at current global climate of lockdowns, isolations, fears of infection, desperation for cures and vaccinations..

Due to circumstances we can not meet in person in the woods and celebrate Yule. but we are doing what we can to stay connected with one another.. So come join us on this online Yule ceremony.. where we create consecrated space, call on elemental guardians, light the lanterns for the ways to open at the quarters.. call on the Great Goddess.. to bring forth the Sun Child....the Child of Promise! In this ceremony (online), we'll have space to focus on your wishes.. project them to the Yule log. that will then be burnt in the Cauldron for all to witness.. live on zoom! (It will be then taken to garden and allowed to burn fully in an outdoor bonfire).

Preparations:

-Make an Altar for your own homes.
-Dress up in bright sparkly Yule attires, robes, cloaks.
-Wear Ivy and antler crowns.
-Have some cake/ biscuit & Wine/ drink ready for blessing

We are very sorry to announce that larger gatherings over 30 are not allowed under current Government Covid-safety rules... Therefore we have no choice but to move this to an online/ zoom based ceremonial event.

This event is now being held on Sunday 20th December 2020, at 9pm (UK time). There are other zoom rituals (Pagan Federation London) being held so we are moving this to give everyone additional options to be able to attend various ones**
