Imbolc 2021 online (PF London & Woodland Witches)

Join us to honour Bride and celebrate IMBOLC ceremony ONLINE. "Imbolc is said to be the time when the Winter Goddess who has kept her grip on the land loosens her hold, so that the ice melts and waters break and flow again. It is when the Goddess Bride (Brigid) `returns’ to the land. Her path is lit by candles, symbolising the return of light and warmth which is imminent. Bride is a Goddess of poetry, inspiration, healing, knot-magic and weaving. With her, she brings the gifts of 3 flames!"

London Woodland Witches meetup group facilitated `Pagan Federation: London's indoor Imbolc ceremony last year in Conway Hall. This year 2021, we have been asked to do the ceremony online. So rather than do 2 online events, we are holding 1 combined event.

Date: Saturday 1st February 2021
Time: 8pm to 9.30pm.

This is an ONLINE / zoom event.
Zoom link will be provided near the time on meetup event & on event page for this on facebook (PF London event).

There will be a waiting room (zoom) prior to start. Please be patient as we get ready. Attendees will be allowed in at 8pm. The zoom room will be locked at 8.10pm when ceremony begins. You can not enter after that...

What to bring/ get ready-----

ALTAR- It will be magical if you can set up your own altar in your own home-space. Your altar does not need to be on camera. You simply need to be able to see it and work with it for your own magical reasons.
-Decorate altar with white candles if possible. If can get fresh (white) flowers to place on altar, even better. Have a picture/ art or statue of a Goddess if possible.
IMBOLC Candle- Have one special candle unlit..and ready for magical work later in the ceremony.
CAKE/WINE/ DRINK - have a small plate of some cake/bread and a glass/chalice of Wine or fruit juice on altar. We will do a communal blessing in the ceremony- where you hold up the food/drink and place your hand/wand over it and repeat words we say...to bless it...and eat/drink.
MAGIC/ HEALING Intentions - At Imbolc, the goddess brings 3 gifts of flames - Healing, purification and creativity. So have a deep thought about these matters ..and where in your life you can have purification, healing and creativity. During online ceremony, there will be a moment to power these intentions, and light a special Imbolc Candle.
