UPDATE: NO POTLUCK with Astronomy Improv Walk and Star Party on Saturday July 28, 2012

From: Richard C. R.

Hello TTWalkers, Museum Musers, and Improv Comedians,

I'll be co-hosting the "Astronomy Improv Walk"  this Saturday, July 28, 2012, with my wife Fran.  Our walk starts at 6 p.m. and ends about 7 p.m.   I'm the amateur astronomer with the Denver Astronomical Society (DAS).  Fran is an amateur improv comedian, who has been going to the weekly free improv workshops (on Thursday nights with the Monkey Butler improv comedy group) here in Denver.

We want to avoid carrying heavy potluck picnic supplies, several blocks from our distant parking places.  The parking options are limited, because this a very popular event, and the park will probably be crowded.  We've decided to cancel the potluck picnic part (only).  Instead, Fran and I will arrive early (about 4 p.m.), and will bring bowls of apples and cherries, for snacks on the TTWalks / Museum Muser / Improv Comedians Meetup table.  The table will be located on the eastern side of the building, between the Chamberlin Observatory and the tennis courts.

We encourage you to eat, before you arrive at Observatory Park.  I recommend that you bring your own water bottle. to keep cool and refreshed.  Restrooms will be available.

We're looking forward to sharing this free astronomy improv walk (southward for a few blocks, toward Harvard Gulch, and back), followed by a free DAS Star Party at the historic Chamberlin Observatory (ending about 10 p.m.).

If you haven't already RSVP'd, please RSVP on one of the calendar event links of your collaborating group below:

The sky's the limit, and even that is expanding!  :-)
