What we're about

This meetup page is used to list trips for the Outdoor Club of South Jersey (OCSJ). Trips are open to all OCSJ members, and guests. Non-OCSJ members can participate in all club activities once for each activity as our guest. Participants on overnight trips that charge money must always be an OCSJ member.

Hiking/Backpacking/Camping/Trail Maintenance

OCSJ is a member club. For $20 single or $25 family membership yearly, you have access to hundreds of trips and events at no extra charge (except costs for special events). This includes canoe/kayak trips, bicycling, cross country skiing as well as hiking, backpacking, camping and trail maintenance.

We are able to accept payment made on-line at www.ocsj.org with Affinipay. You don't need an Affinipay account to use a credit card. We also accept checks. Go to our website http://www.ocsj.org for more information.

If you have already paid your dues to the Outdoor Club of South Jersey, thank you!

Black Run Preserve Trailhead

Beginner's mountain bike ride on the trails of Black Run Preserve. The route planned will take us on the blue, red, black, white and yellow REI trails approximately 6 miles with options to do more. This preserve is more challenging than Parvin State Park, but not as challenging as Camden County College trails. Mountain bikes only please! Hybrid bikes will be difficult to control. Leaders: Micha Abrams and Neil Kornhauser[masked]

Brendan Byrne Trails with Mike

We will be riding around the trails and back roads of this great park. Expect around 15-20 miles. There may be water obstacles, but nothing we can't handle. Those pesky thorns, along the way, are sure to get into someone's tire. Mountain bikes only. Mike:[masked]

Atsion to Batsto and Back with Mike

We will be riding the trails and back roads as we complete this out and back. I expect around 20 miles. Beers and food at the Pic after the ride. Mountain bikes only. Mike:[masked]
