Will do 25 to 30 miles at a pace held rate of approximately 13 - 14 mph on this no drop social ride.
Check your bike before the ride for properly inflated tires and bring water bottle/s,tire repair kit with extra tube, helmet is mandatory.There are no restrooms at the start.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 to experience the ancient sport of dragon boating hosted by The Viking Dragons Paddling Team as we navigate the back bays of Absecon Island.

Twenty paddlers, one drummer, and one steerer work as a single unit.
Their goal is simple: move the boat faster through perfect timing and
teamwork.

The sport welcomes everyone. Fitness level doesn’t matter as much as the
willingness to paddle in sync with the crew. Dragon boating teaches
valuable lessons about cooperation, community, rhythm, and trust.

Instruction will be given by Coach Shelley and there will be experienced paddlers on the boat to help guide us through our paddle. Be ready to experience a special connection with the water.

Head north on D&R path.
Cross over to Pa at Bulls Island and continue north to Uhlerstown.
Cross over to NJ and Frenchtown.
Lunch at cafe
Head south on NJ D&R canal to Bulls Island.
Cross over at Bulks Island to Pa and head south to next bridge.
Cross over to NJ and Stockton and head north on D&R canal path to start

Helmets required.
