CLASS A+ Crusing Speed: 22+ For very experienced and seasoned riders. No obligation to wait for stragglers or breakdowns as long as cue sheets or directions are provided. Be prepared for longer distances. Rotating pacelines likely.

CLASS A. Crusing Speed: 20 – 22 Similar to A+

CLASS B+ Crusing Speed: 18 – 20 For the above average rider. Should be capable of riding long distances with some stops. No obligation to wait for stragglers or breakdowns as long as cue sheets or directions are provided.

CLASS B. Crusing Speed: 16 – 18 Similar to B+

CLASS C+ Crusing Speed: 14 – 16 For the above average rider. Rest stops about every 25 miles. No obligation to wait for stragglers or breakdowns as long as cue sheets or directions are provided.

CLASS C. Crusing Speed: 12 - 14 For the average rider. Shorter distances with frequent rest stops. The group will wait for stragglers and breakdowns. Cue sheets are not mandatory.

CLASS D. Crusing Speed: or less 12 or less For the SLOWER or SOCIAL rider. Frequent stops by leader or upon request of rider(s). Cue sheets are not mandatory.

CLASS HILL various various Includes climbs of 5-10% grade and shorter lengths

The Outdoor Club of South Jersey is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for extending the individual's awareness, knowledge, appreciation, and enjoyment of the environment through experiences in outdoor activities. Including but limited to, Hiking, Biking, Boating, X-C skiing, camping, and backpacking. The Club is made up of people of all ages who are involved with the outdoors. All activities are led by volunteer members. The Club offers all members an opportunity to be a part of or to create their own outdoor experience or activity.

Evening Social D Pace (10-12 mph) 11.5 miles thru Brendan Byrne State Forest

Same as the Bike Tour at Brendan Byrne State Forest but in reverse. 11.5 miles. Road bikes, hybrids & mountain bikes are all appropriate for the ride. Sunday Southampton - Browns Mills - Pemberton Loop C+ 29 miler

Southampton Municipal Court

I'm going to try out a new route, with some new roads, on the east side of Rt 206. We'll start out at the parking lot just next to Southampton Municipal Court, and head towards Browns Mills, circling Mirror Lake, then heading through Pemberton, and then make our way back towards Southampton, via Vincentown. Total of 29 miles, we'll do C+ pace (15-16), with some occasional breakaways. D pace (10-12 mph) 15 miles

Flying W Airport & Resort

15 mile social ride at a D pace (10 - 12 mph). Good beginner ride. We will have at least one rest stop. Brief safety talk at the beginning. Helmets are required on all OCSJ rides. Please bring sufficient water and always carry at least one spare tube (2 is recommended). Please contact me if you have any questions. Kohl’s Plazza

Quad county ride, Camden, Burlington, Atlantic, and Gloucester. About 40 miles, rolling speed 15 to 18 mph. One stop at Mr. Billy’s .No drop ride.
