Life is too short not to meet NEW people, do something DIFFERENT and have FUN . This group will expose you to so many things you may never even knew existed. The best part is that this group holds interesting things for singles, couples, all age ranges, first timers, or the experienced who seeks to do it again.

Don't worry about coming out alone, that's what most people do... We'll make sure that you have an opportunity to socialize and hopefully go home meeting tons of people and even make a few friends.

What is a Silent Disco or Quiet Clubbing? Each person receives a pair of wireless headphones. This allows you to adjust the volume and choose between up to three DJs by flicking a switch.

It is a fun and casual way to meet others in our group who are from your generation. The Playwright Irish Pub on 35th street is centrally located and very accessible from all subways. They have a cozy lounge on the 2nd floor that we will use for our gathering. The drinks are affordable and the food is excellent. Here is how it works: Arrive at The Playwright between 6:30-7:30pm for cocktails and socializing at the bar. Our NYSN host will be on hand to welcome you and introduce you to others in the group. We will have a section of the lounge set aside for our group. (look for the signs) There will be a fun ice breaker game at 7:15pm with prizes. You can come for one drink or stay longer and grab a bite with your new friends, it's up to you. Our host will see who is interested in sitting down for dinner (separate checks) around 7:30pm. If you are new to the group this is a good event to come to since you will be surrounded by people you can relate to. It will also be a slightly smaller group (20-30 people) than our larger parties. It will be easier to have conversations. Can I come alone? Yes, 98% of those attending this event normally register on their own. You welcome to bring as many non member guests, friends & co workers as you’d like, just make sure to register for the number of people that you want below. Our staff will be ready to greet you and introduce you to others whether you are on your own or with guests. Do I need a ticket? For paid events: Unless otherwise instructed, if you registered and paid for this event or registered with a voucher your name will be on a list at the door.
