Baijiu is the world’s best-selling family of spirits, but is only beginning to be understood outside of China — it's time to learn, and taste your way through, how this 9,000-year-old spirit has influenced, and been influenced by, Chinese culture.

Join New York Adventure Club (https://www.nyadventureclub.com/) for a Baijiu masterclass, where we'll discover the universe of flavors and unique production methods that make this spirit unlike anything else behind the Western bar.

Led by author and baijiu expert Derek Sandhaus, our unique experience will include:

• An overview of baijiu — what it is, how it's made, how it differs from Western spirits
• A tasting of several different baijius, representing the major regional styles
• A chance to mingle with other adventurers with a taste for the finest global spirits

Derek has traveled around China studying different styles of baijiu, and is ready to answer any and all questions about this storied spirit!

See you there!

*While snacks will be provided, we recommend eating beforehand
