About us
Founded in June 2002, The San Francisco-Oakland Euchre Club is one of the oldest & largest of its kind on the West Coast. Brought together by our love of Euchre, most of us are transplants - mainly from the Great Lakes, Midwest & Canada - with a growing contingent of locals, too!
We play 4x a month and have an easy to remember schedule:
- 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month in San Francisco at Rudi's Sports Bar in The Mission.
- 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month in Oakland at Mad Oak Bar near Lake Merritt.
Both venues are very near BART stations and have food available.
If you're new to Euchre, you'll need to know how to play before coming to an event. That being said, it's very easy for you to learn beforehand!

Due to our annual Bar-B-Qchre date landing Saturday 10/17, we're adjusting our October SF event dates so that they're spaced out more ideally as follows:
- SF 1st Tuesdays October 10/6 MOVED to 9/29
- SF 3rd Tuesdays October 10/20 MOVED to 10/13
Rudi's is located near the corner of 16th Street & Valencia just a short walk from the 16th Street Mission BART Station and several MUNI lines.

Blue Heron Lake Boathouse Picnic Area in Golden Gate Park, 50 Blue Heron Lake Drive (formerly Stow Lake Drive), San Francisco, ca, USThe 17th Annual Bar-B-Qchre in Golden Gate Park has been officially scheduled for Oct 17, 2026!
While we normally host this event the 2nd full weekend in October(i.e. the weekend after Hardly Strictly), there is scheduling conflict this year, so it's getting pushed out a week to Saturday October 17th. So mark your calendars now!
TIMING
-Arrive any time after Noon.
-Grill at 1pm.
-Wrap things up by 6pm.WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED
-Hot dogs, sausages, buns
-Condiments
-Plates, Napkins, Utensils, & Cups
-Grill, Charcoal, Matches
-Water

-Suggested donation to cover picnic area rental & supplies: $5
