SFSWM Virtual Book Club XXXII: Darth Maul Comics Fest!
·OnlineOnlineWe're giving Darth Maul his moment with a San Francisco Star Wars Meetup crossover event! This will be the first of three Maul-themed meetups. The other two will focus on the upcoming Darth Maul - Shadow Lord streaming series.
In anticipation of the series (and meetups!), we'll read Darth Maul's canon graphic novels—and some parts of them might even play into the Shadow Lord series. There's Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir (2014), Star Wars: Darth Maul (2017) and Darth Maul - Black, White & Red (2024). And if you really can't get enough Maul in your life, you could also read Darth Maul - Death Sentence (2012, non-canon) and Age of Republic - Darth Maul (2018, one-shot) It's a Darth Maul celebration!
At least the first three above are available on Hoopla and libraries, generally.
Stating the obvious: Read the book before the meetup; the conversation will be riddled with spoilers.
